I like to play basketball, so I looked up where there are basketball courts in town. Apparently none of the gyms have anything, but there's an outdoor court nearish my house. That court turned out to be basically an elementary school playground, but I find out the Community Center has a basketball court. Problem is, the gym is closed on Saturday! What kind of gym is closed on Saturday? There is seriously not much at all to do in this town. Golf, workout, hike, and thats about it. Good thing I have plans for most of the weekends.

You're surrounded by mountain passes, so there's always spirited (but safe and responsible) driving.

Problem though, my fun truck is back in SLO 400 miles away (driving it up here is pretty much not an option), so my only vehicle is my 2000 Expedition. I'd kill for a nice miata or some other fun convertible though...

Well, at least there's the 'scenery' at Zephyr Cove. ;)
